Safari Overview
Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a land of big baobab trees, big elephants, and big cats. No wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and zebras are also almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – While you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard, it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains, river woodlands, and rocky hills.

Morning
After breakfast, we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
Afternoon
The guided game drive is the best thing about going on safari and that's what you'll be doing this afternoon in Tarangire National Park. From the comfort of your vehicle, there's always a chance that you might see some of the animals that you came so far to see. After a picnic lunch you do an afternoon game drive then drive to the lodge for dinner and a good rest.
Morning
This morning you'll go on an excursion to visit the Maasai in Lake Natron.
This wonderful cultural excursion will immerse you in the fascinating ancestry of these noble people. At the Maasai village playing host to your tour, you will have the opportunity to meet with a Maasai family, visit a traditional boma, the village huts (called Manyatta), made of cow dung and clay plastered over stick frames, and perhaps venture to a local school or clinic.
If you would like to extend your half-day adventure, and turn it into a full-day’s exploration, you can experience a day in the life of a young Maasai or, for an authentic interaction, watch a bloodletting ceremony. It is an extraordinary reality how the Maasai people live in the heart of the bush, with warthogs foraging and elephants trumpeting just on their periphery.
Afternoon
Flamingo walk tour, Lake Natron, Lake Natron, known for the famous mountain of god, Ol Doinyo Lengai, an authentic Maasai village, and the beautiful lake itself! A very beautiful landscape that differs from all other parks with a lot of things to do! Lake Natron is also well connected to other National parks, such as Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the south, and the Northern Serengeti National Park in the west.
Morning

Today you will have another chance to spot all the big cats either you missed in the first or add some more to your bucket list.
You'll spend the best part of a day exploring Ngorongoro Crater on your guided game drive. There's always lots of wildlife to see, and this could include lions, hyenas and black rhinos.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.
